The Central Bank's strategic goals are prioritised through the filters of:

  • Pillar 1: Transparency & Governance prioritises upholding open communication with stakeholders, accountability, oversight to maintain public trust and ensure sound decision-making and a governed approach to managing risks within the Central Bank's operating environment.

  • Pillar 2: Economic and Financial Sector Resilience maintains emphasis on achieving progress on the Central Bank's statutory mandate for monetary and financial sector policies, the payment system and safeguarding the stability of the Bahamian financial system. 
  • Pillar 3: Operational Excellence and People Empowerment commits the Central Bank to pursuing higher standards of efficiency, effectiveness and excellence in the services and output provided to the public, while fostering a work environment and culture in which staff are equipped and motivated to perform at their best.
