Press Release: Draft Digital Assets Guidelines, 2022 - Industry Consultation

The Central Bank of The Bahamas (“the Central Bank”) is pleased to release, for a 60-day consultation period, its Draft Digital Assets Guidelines. The Guidelines provide Supervised Financial Institutions with an overview of the Central Bank’s expectations for engagement in digital asset activities and identification of accepted best practices for effective risk management.
