Issuance of GFSR Joint Targeted Financial Sanctions Reporting Forms

The Central Bank of The Bahamas (“the Central Bank”), in conjunction with The Group of Financial Services Regulators (“the GFSR”), is pleased to announce the joint implementation of the uniform targeted financial sanctions reporting forms, along with accompanying guidance notes, effective 1 July 2025. This collective effort aims to enhance coordination amongst GFSR agencies and optimize efficiency in regulatory reporting. Jointly licensed institutions are required to complete and submit the applicable forms to the respective regulatory body by whom they are licensed, in accordance with the standard submission requirements. The GFSR remain committed to fulfilling International Sanctions obligations and effectively combating financial crime, pursuant to Section 44. Subsection (1) of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 2018, the Anti-Terrorism (Amendment), Act 2019 and Section 49, Subsection (3) of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 2018.
