Closure due to Tropical Storm Imelda
The Central Bank of The Bahamas (the Central Bank) advises the public that, due to the passage of Tropical Storm Imelda, and in the interest of the safety of our staff and stakeholders, our offices will be closed to in-person services on 29 September 2025.
Services will continue remotely, where possible. Normal operations are expected to continue once the all clear is issued from The Bahamas Department of Meteorology. The public is encouraged to monitor the Central Bank’s official website and verified social media platforms for additional updates, as they become available.
The Central Bank remains available to assist with enquiries and services via telephone and e-mail. Members of the public may contact the appropriate department(s) as outlined on our website.
