The Central Bank Announces the 7th Annual Financial Literacy Video Essay Competition for Students

Local students in the categories of Primary, Junior High, Senior High, and University or College are invited to produce a three-to-five-minute video essay on the topic:

“The Bahamian economy would thrive more if customers had full access to the foreign currency credit and deposit facilities offered by banks.”

Students should research and organise their position before recording their views. Primary and secondary school entries require the consent of a parent or guardian before uploading a copy of their video to the competition website.

By submitting a video entry, students grant the Central Bank permission to share, reproduce and use the video and related materials for promotion and public education on the Central Bank’s chosen platforms.

Competition deadline: Saturday, 31 October 2026, at 11:59pm
